Mastectomy Surgery: Mastectomy surgery involves removing all of the breast tissue from one or both breasts, and is done to treat large tumors. It may also be used where there are multiple tumors or it is not safe to do a partial mastectomy. Your surgeon will make the best choice for your treatment circumstances.

Lymph Node (Axillary) Surgery: If your breast cancer is invasive your surgeon will usually take out some or all of the lymph nodes under your arm during your full or partial mastectomy. Plastic Breast Surgeons:

Breast Augmentation: Augmentation mammoplasty, can be a cosmetic procedure or a reconstructive procedure in the case of breast reconstruction surgery. The procedure involves implants being inserted beneath the breasts to enlarge them. You may have this surgery as part of an elective procedure if you are simply to look to enhance the size or look of your breasts.

Breast Reconstruction: This may involve an implant, a patient’s own tissue, or micro surgery and is also an elective option to patients. Breast reconstruction is increasingly common – especially for women who have had a mastectomy. The procedure can create a breast that resembles a natural breast in appearance and form.

Breast Asymmetry: Asymmetry is something that many women struggle with. There are a number of techniques our surgeons use including augmentation, reduction, and lipofillling, which can improve breast symmetry.

Breast Reduction: This surgery may be an elective or an ACC funded procedure. Reduction mammoplasty, involves surgery that reduces the size of overly large breasts. Another common procedure is mastopexy, which is similar to breast reduction and will lift the breast.
