Dr Lindsay Damkat Thomas is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a specialist interest in adult and paediatric burn surgery. She qualified in Belfast and holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (Plastic Surgery), completing her Certificate of Completion of Training in the UK.
Prior to her appointment to the National Burn Centre of New Zealand in 2021, Lindsay completed specialist Burn Surgery Fellowships at the Beverwijk Red Cross Hospital in the Netherlands and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia.
Lindsay is based at the National Burn Centre of New Zealand at Middlemore Hospital, within Auckland Regional Plastic Reconstructive and Hand Surgery, and holds an appointment as Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland.
Lindsay now welcomes referrals to Ormiston Hospital.
