Dr Leite is a highly trained and experienced Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon with extensive expertise gained both in New Zealand and internationally. He completed his training in 2003 and has since focused on improving his clinical and surgical skills.
He has completed specialised fellowships in Paediatric ORL, General Otolaryngology and Salivary Gland Surgery. In addition to a PhD focusing on minimally invasive salivary gland surgery (Sialendoscopy), he also holds postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Legal/Forensic Medicine.
With 26 years of experience, Dr Leite coordinates both the Larynx/Voice Clinic and the Minimally Invasive Salivary Gland Surgery (Sialendoscopy) Clinic at Counties Manukau Health. He also runs a dedicated Rhinology (nose and sinus surgery) clinic.
