Andrew Riley is a founding director of Eye Doctors and a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Greenlane Clinical Centre. After completing his ophthalmic specialist training at Wellington Hospital in 2003, he undertook fellowship training in the UK in oculoplastic and anterior segment surgery, and in medical retina and uveitis.
An Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland, Andrew is a keen volunteer – over the past decade he has performed cataract surgery and trained local medical professionals across the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Papua New Guinea. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, gardening, mountain biking and fishing.
