Throughout the year, our team has taken the time to nominate colleagues who truly bring the Ormiston Hospital & Healthcare values to life. These nominations reflect genuine care, respect and appreciation for one another and for the work we do every day.
The engagement with the Value Awards this year has been a real highlight, with colleagues from across the organisation taking the time to recognise one another’s hard mahi. The care and thought behind each nomination speaks to a strong, values-led culture across the entire organisation – something we are extremely proud of.
Each quarter, four winners are selected, one for each of our values. These recipients are then considered for the Supreme Value Award, recognising an individual who has consistently demonstrated our values at the highest level.
We’re proud to celebrate both our Supreme Value Award winner and our Q3 and 4 Value Award winners below.
And the supreme winner is…
🏆 Angelique Dequit 🏆
Angelique is a powerful example of what it means to have the courage to change, improve and grow. She actively seeks feedback, reflects openly and uses that feedback constructively to strengthen her leadership and practice.
Through strong collaboration with her colleagues, Angelique has continued to enhance her leadership skills and has become an exceptional role model within the organisation. Her positivity and openness create an environment where others feel supported and confident.
As an after-hours duty leader, Angelique has demonstrated outstanding leadership, supporting teams to manage patient workloads and troubleshoot complex situations with confidence and calm. Her guidance makes a real difference to both staff experience and patient care.
Congratulations, Angelique – a very deserving Supreme Value Award winner!

We’re also thrilled to announce the brilliant staff members who have won the Quarter 4 and Quarter 3 Value Awards!
As we come to the end of the year, it’s vital we celebrate colleagues who have gone above and beyond, truly bringing our core Ormiston Hospital values to life. The number of nominations we received this second half of the year was fantastic, showing the dedication right across our clinical and non-clinical teams.
Please join us in giving a huge cheer to these colleagues for their exceptional work!
