Courage to changeAngelique DequitAngelique is a perfect example of an individual in our organisation who has the courage to change, to improve and grow by collaborating with her colleagues to successfully enhance her leadership skills. She is positive, seeks feedback and uses this feedback constructively to make changes to her practice.   Angelique is an amazing role model for our team and has showcased exceptional leadership as after-hours duty leader. She supports the team to ensure we feel confident with patient workloads and how to troubleshoot tricky situations.
Caring with empathyVictoria DalpatanVictoria excels in the care she provides to patients in the ward in her role of HCA. Patients have verbally expressed this to our team personally when they march the halls of the ward. Victoria chose to increase her clinical skills when she completed the HCA upskilling programme late 2024. She has also recently completed her competent level HCA PDRP- one of the first HCA’s to complete this at Ormiston Hospital.   Victoria’s ongoing training highlights her commitment to caring with empathy for our patients. She has gone above and beyond to better her skills to continue to provide outstanding patient care.
Excellence in what we doJosephine Cheung-FookJosephine is someone who you can go to at any time and she’s always willing to help. She is proactive and has excellent attention to detail. Her recent support to streamline processes which enabled the team to complete tasks ahead of schedule is just one example of her going above and beyond.
