1. Endoscopy Bookings Coordinator 

We have a vacancy in our Endoscopy Service for a Bookings Coordinator.  We are looking for a professional, personable and experienced bookings clerk with excellent customer service skills to join our busy team.  The person in this role will work closely with colleagues in the Endoscopy Service along with our team of specialists to ensure that patient referrals are effectively managed in a timely manner and that patients are appropriately prepared for their procedure.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, have excellent computer skills, and a well- honed customer service ethic.   Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years’ experience in an Endoscopy or Surgical booking environment.

2. Endoscopy Team Leader

The purpose of this position is to provide proactive operational management of and inspirational leadership to the Ormiston Endoscopy Service.   The Endoscopy Team Leader will ensure that all patients and their families/whanau receive a high level of customer service at all times throughout their hospital experience.

The Endoscopy Team Leader will ensure the effective and efficient running of the service.  This will include ensuring that staff levels and mix are appropriate and all necessary clinical supplies and equipment are on hand when required.

The Endoscopy Team Leader will respond promptly to Specialists’ requests and effectively manage the fluctuating demands of a busy Endoscopy service.

The successful applicant will report to the Theatre Services Manager, will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing patient-centred care.

3. Anaesethic Technician

We are looking for an Anaesthetic Technician to join our team. We pride ourselves on offering the best clinical and professional services to our surgery at ormistonpatients, and our staff are very experienced.

Ormiston has 6 theatres, covering specialties including Endoscopy, Orthopaedics, Hands, Plastics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Urology, Bariatric, General and Vascular.  Our patients range from the little ones to our respected senior citizens.

  • Qualified Anaesthetic Technician with an Annual Practicing Certificate for at least two years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
